Bora Pharmaceuticals Sells Mesityl Drug License for US$30 Million

Bora Pharmaceuticals (TW: 6472) announced on the 30th of September that its board approved the sale by subsidiary Bora Biologics of the US and China drug approvals for Megestrol Acetate Oral Suspension, along with related rights worldwide except Hungary, to GENSCI Singapore, a subsidiary of Gensci Biotechnology, for US$30 million (approximately NT$950 million). Bora expects to recognize a US$30 million gain from the transaction, while a separate supply agreement will see Bora continue manufacturing the product, creating both one-time licensing income and long-term CDMO revenue. Immunwork's Weight-Loss Drug TE-8105 Approved by Australia's HREC to Launch Phase IIb Trial

TE-8105 uses Immunwork's proprietary "Fatty Acid Bundle" platform, which combines modified GLP-1 with a fatty acid bundle containing two long-chain fatty acids.
