Samil, established in 1947, is one of the most prominent Korean manufacturers of pharmaceutical products across multiple therapeutic areas, with a core specialization and focus on ophthalmic medicines, and having long-standing partnerships with global players such as Samsung, Abbvie, Nicox, and Thea. EirGenix May revenue climbs 56%, supported by CDMO growth

EirGenix (TW: 6589) reported May revenue of NT$116 million, up 56.35% year-over-year and 42.08% month-over-month, bringing cumulative revenue for the first five months of 2026 to NT$507 million, a 43.25% increase from a year earlier. The growth was driven by licensing revenue from its breast cancer biosimilar EG1206A, the transfer of existing CDMO projects to its Zhubei facility, and the progression of new projects into late-stage technology transfer and GMP manufacturing preparation. Gongwin Biopharm's liver cancer drug advances into Phase III clinical trials

Gongwin Biopharm (TW: 6617) announced that enrollment has been completed in the Taiwan Phase II clinical trial of its liver cancer therapy PTS100 for patients with unresectable or otherwise difficult-to-treat hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The randomized, open-label study is now moving into the efficacy evaluation stage at five major Taiwanese medical centers, including National Taiwan University Hospital and Taipei Veterans General Hospital.
