BIO Asia–Taiwan 2023 Onsite + Online will be held July 26-30, in Taipei, Taiwan. The event aims to build on the success of recent years’ gatherings to bring together biotechnology and pharmaceutical executives and investors from North America, Europe and Asia, and explore business opportunities and to engage with Taiwan’s emerging biotech sector. The five-day gathering will feature a three-day conference with internationally-renowned speakers, company presentations from Asia and around the world, BIO One-on-One Partnering™ meetings, symposia and workshops, and an international exhibition. Each element of the gathering will also be accessible online in either live or on-demand formats; ideal for repeat viewings or for delegates unable to attend in person. Online participation in 2022 was impressive, with 13,000 online conference and 215,000 online exhibition views.
This year’s theme, Embracing Asian Dynamics, showcases the incredible opportunities that exist within Asian’s fast moving economies, its dynamic and innovation-generating biomedical ecosystems, and its globally-connected bio-industry production and value chains. Featuring the latest advances from the therapeutic, diagnostic, medical equipment, and service sectors, BIO Asia–Taiwan 2023 Onsite + Online is notably hosted in Taiwan, recognized worldwide not only for its efforts in successfully fighting the spread of COVID-19, but also in cultivating a high level of innovation and production, leading to increasing engagement with the international biomedical community. The event promises attendees a wide range of seminars and panel discussions on industry-critical, cutting-edge topics from 100+ renowned speakers, while providing networking with a wide range of high-quality companies and solution providers.

Jointly organized by the global Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) and the Taiwan Bio Industry Organization (Taiwan BIO) the BIO Asia–Taiwan International Conference and Exhibition was held for the first time in 2019. An endorsement of Taiwan as a leading Asian biomedical industry hub, the gathering was a resounding success. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition was successfully transformed into a unique blend of live and online gatherings, with this format used in subsequent editions to encourage even greater participation from the international biotechnology community

BIO Asia–Taiwan 2023 Onsite + Online will again feature the renowned BIO One-on-One Partnering™ platform, an easy-to-use online meeting scheduling system to search for and identify potential partners, collaborators, investors and in- and out-licensing opportunities. Face-to-face meetings will be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center on Thursday, July 27 to Saturday, July 29. Virtual meetings will be held over private and secure Zoom video links 24 hours a day on Tuesday, July 25 to Wednesday, July 26. With over 4,500 meeting requests made via the system during BIO Asia–Taiwan 2022, we expect to exceed that number during the 2023 event. Registration will open in May and the BIO One-on-One Partnering system will open on June 20.
